BC Health Care? - extended health bc
I live in Vancouver and I am currently in supplementary health insurance. Since I have all my life before I moved, I'm not sure what is covered and what is not.
Regular trips to the doctor with basic medical equipment covered? What specialists and obstetricians / gynecologists?

I assume that you register for MSP? If so, all requests fall on your family doctor, and all the experts as OB / GYN. Dental is not covered, and not the eye care for adults. Their prescriptions are not covered, but after a certain amount (depending on your income) are free.
